The good stuff. I have been keeping lists of things that make me happy for years, writing them in little journals. My reminder of all the little things that make me happy.
Remember when you were a child, and everything seemed so simple? This is my daily reminder to myself to appreciate the little things. It has also helped me learn who I really am, and what is really important to me. Money rarely creeps into the daily 5, but friends/family/animals/books/delicious food/travel often make appearances.
Top 5. Every day, at the end of the day, trying to think of the top 5 things of the day. And write it down. Things that made me smile, that I'm grateful for, that I love.
Today's top 5:
1. Pumpkin spiced coffee
2. Riding my bike with the puppy
3. Learning a new song on the guitar
4. Finishing a new book
5. The smell of fall.
